Donato Dozzy & Neel on Spazio Disponibile

For its 21^st release, Spazio Disponi­bile label heads Dona­to Dozzy and Neel come togeth­er in response to the cur­rent protests around the world. Ded­i­cat­ed to Black Lives Mat­ter this three-track EP titled ​‘Quar­to Fred­do’ is a Band­camp only dig­i­tal release with all pro­ceeds being donat­ed to BLM causes.

This EP hosts the return of Voic­es From The Lake – their first out­ing since 2017. The title cut is a melt­ing pot of syn­the­sis and field record­ings with heav­i­ly detailed lay­ers that ebb and flow through­out. Neel​’s solo addi­tion is an ele­gant work of ambi­ence forg­ing plucked instru­men­ta­tion with singing birds and evolv­ing pads. In the clos­ing work of the EP Dozzy veers in the direc­tion of min­i­mal­ism with a stripped back com­po­si­tion that focus­es on tex­tures and tonal­i­ties.
