Stamp­ing his pul­sat­ing charm onto ​‘Hid­den’, Func­tion floods his ver­sion of the track with acid rain­drops while strik­ing a bal­ance between a refined yet ener­getic sound.

Func­tion has forged an endur­ing musi­cal path over the decades, with ear­ly pro­duc­tions for Damon Wild’s Synewave imprint, Sandwell Dis­trict, Ostgut Ton, his own New York label, Infra­struc­ture and most recent­ly, Tre­sor Records. A track record prov­ing his right­ful title as an under­ground hero of techno.

The orig­i­nal mix of ​‘Hid­den’ can be found on British elec­tron­ic duo, Dense & Pika’s impres­sive 2021 debut LP, Colour Burn fea­tur­ing Igor Cav­alera, drum­mer for Brazil­ian thrash met­al band Sepultura.
