New Legowelt album on the way...
‘Unconditional Contours’ is out in October.
Hot off the heels of his latest album ‘Pancakes With Mist’, Legowelt announces yet another full length for 2020 – via XLR8R. The album was recorded at the Swiss Museum for Electronic Music Instruments (SMEM) in Fribourg, Switzerland, a synthesizer museum with more than 5000 pieces, back in early 2019 when Legowelt was invited as the first guest ahead of its official opening.
“The 10-track album ‘Unconditional Contours’ is both a probe into the vast collection of SMEM, and a display of Legowelt’s well established compositional qualities. Leaving ample space for new sounds to unfold, Legowelt invokes gentle trips, brooding excursions, bleep heavy soundscapes, and reimagined elements of dance music classicism.”
Synthesizers used: Moog Memorymoog, Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, Sequential Circuits Prophet VS, Evolution EVS‑1, Pulser Dual Voice Synthesizer, Roland Promars Compuphonic, Farfisfa Syntorchestra, Simmons Digital Clap Trap, FBT Synther 2000
