The Drift Institute: Damages and their Slices
The Drift Institute has released a music video for “Money”, a track from their debut album.
The Drift Institute is the latest endeavour from NVST and Théo Muller.
Their debut album, Damages and Their Slices was recently released on Pensaments Sònics, featuring twelve tracks. The collaborative album mixes spoken word and trip hop rhythms. The producers invite their listeners to a deep dive into an esoteric universe where black magic is combined with political revolt to offer a complete and executory experience.
Now, the music video for “Money,” is here, directed by filmmaker, Joachim Mcx.
NVST and Théo Muller create an atmospheric, narrative journey with their music and this carries through the film. Borrowing from the codes of witchcraft and the occult, the strongly cinematographic universe offers a narrative journey around the figure of the Drift Institute.
The Drift Institute is a mysterious secret society established in a castle with a Gothic aesthetic, its mission is to purge the evil of the world and its leaders through dark shamanic ceremonies.
