New release Donato Dozzy

Next up for heady tech­no tal­ent Dona­to Dozzy is a release on the well estab­lished inde­pen­dent label that is Edi­tions Mego. He has turned up here many times before — most recent­ly remix­ing Bee Mask — and now he is back with their 38th release in the form of a col­lab­o­ra­tive release with Anna Carag­nano. The nine track album is a tru­ly exper­i­men­tal work that uses no instru­ments, but for Anna’s voice, across nine tracks and two sides of vinyl. From r&b to folk, kos­mis­che to cham­ber choir music, this album explores many dif­fer­ent styles though intri­cate lay­er­ing and effects, and is a phe­nom­e­nal lis­ten as a result. Tune in here.
