Back in October, Peter Van Hoesen played Semantica’s 10 year anniversary party at Concrete in Paris. Listen to a more than two hour recording of the set here.
He played an extended hybrid set, a mixture of DJ and live performance, which Van Hoesen likes to do if he feels at home in avenue and when settime allows to play longer. You’ll find that the Time to Express boss really dug deep over the course of the set, and after starting with weightless ambiance he snakes through increasingly heavy and dubbed out rhythms. An experimental brand of avant-techno follows and ranges in intensity, density and darkness as things play out, proving once more that the Belgian really does have his unique style down to a tee.
