Orpheu The Wizard with Music For Listening To

The Amsterdam based selector was back under the red lights with his morning radio show.

It’s that time of the month again! Orpheu The Wizard was back on Red Light Radio marking the sixth edition of his Music For Listening To radio show. As always, the show is the first of a new day and the longtime selector handles it accordingly.

Organic strum instruments, warm pads and minimal percussion all feature in the opening cuts of the show which collectively paint the picture of a slow, gentle rise on a morning off work. After meticulously building things to a meditative-like state the Red Light Radio co-founder gets busy adding rhythm based tracks to the mix. Bass lines run from playful to sleazy and melodies sing sweet symphonies before things draw to an end with African tones. Have a look and listen here.
