Suzanne Kraft & Jonny Nash Live at Sonar

Since both mov­ing to Ams­ter­dam in recent years Suzanne Kraft and Jon­ny Nash have formed a close alliance shar­ing musi­cal ideas and col­lab­o­rat­ing on sev­er­al projects. Since releas­ing their debut album last year on Melody As Truth the pair have per­formed togeth­er on a more reg­u­lar basis. Their ambi­ent live shows have engaged a wide audi­ence and have seen them per­form at some unusu­al venues such as the Van Gogh Muse­um in Amsterdam.

At Sonar, the pair put togeth­er a dis­play of ambi­ent sounds using a mix­ture of in and out­board gear. Bound by no rhythm the per­for­mance unfolds very grace­ful­ly using lots of delay-based effects as they tran­si­tion from one chap­ter to the next. Immerse your­self in the per­for­mance below.
