I-F and Intergalactic Gary with unreleased The Conservatives material

Olds friends I-F and Intergalactic Gary revisit old material from their longtime alias The Conservatives.

The Conservatives is an old alias of Dutch legends I‑F and Intergalactic Gary. The project first came to light in 2003 on I‑F’s Top Secret/Test Series label with the release of Loneliness that was later reissued on Viewlexx in 2016. To date, there had been no other released material from the alias, however, after revisiting the unreleased soundtrack the pair produced for Edwin Brienen’s movie Terraforma it was decided they would release the material for the first time ever.

The film tells the story of six mental cases, trying to get rid of society’s norms and values by kidnapping, a well-known TV host. Delivering the soundtrack, The Conservatives (I‑F & Intergalatic Gary) are setting down the perfect mood for this cult classic.’

Across 12 tracks the pair use droning stab notes, arpeggiated synth lines, spooky sequences, and gated percussive hits to create a dramatic and moody soundtrack capturing the true essence of the cult classic. Showing similarities to the work of the great John Carpenter this soundtrack should get horror movie fans very excited! Vinyl release, here. Digital release, here
