Jamie Tiller hits Beats In Space & Freedom Time!
Check out Jamie Tiller's debut on NYC's Beats In Space and his recent b2b set with Tako from Freedom Time in Melbourne.
As July drew to as close Jamie Tiller flew across the Atlantic for a string of gigs in New York and LA. Ahead of his show at the Brooklyn based Black Flamingo the Music From Memory co-founder linked up with Tim Sweeney for his debut show on the infamous Beats In Space. Armed with a broad selection of well sought after records Jamie laid out a diverse 75-minute radio show special touching on everything from African rhythms to leftfield obscurities to playful dancefloor cuts. Lots of magic in this one, check it out below.
A month prior to this Jamie and the rest of the Music From Memory crew hosted a stage at Melbourne’s Freedom Time winter festival in collaboration with Skylab Radio. The stage played host to a bunch of great artists but notably saw an incredible b2b from the Music From Memory co-founders Jamie Tiller and Tako. Over the course of an hour, the pair kept the dancefloor rocking with a little bit everything from moody house cuts, Italo and synth-poppy goodness to straight up classic bangers such as a spicy rework of The Stone Roses’s “Fools Gold”. Tune into this one here.
Not leaving it there, Jamie also appeared at Dekmantel Festival’s Boiler Room this weekend, more info on that one soon!
