Marco Shuttle experimental recording from No Way Back’s Out Space Room

While spend­ing time in Detroit for the renowned Move­ment Fes­ti­val Mar­co Shut­tle was also invit­ed to tack­le one of the city’s most loved club nights ​“No Way Back”. Mar­co explained in a Face­book post that ahead of the per­for­mance ​“I had pre­vi­ous­ly heard from plen­ty of peo­ple in the game that No Way Back was a very very spe­cial night and I was, there­fore, full of expectations…well, I can eas­i­ly say that it went quite a bit beyond them…” 

In the record­ing below you can relive the experimental/​ambient DJ set he was invit­ed to play on the night. Over the course of two hours, Mar­co lay­ers a com­bi­na­tion of spo­ken word, ambi­ent and exper­i­men­tal tracks into a unique and pow­er­ful sound­track. It ooz­ing in deep and mind-bend­ing metal­lic syn­the­sized tones but still has very har­mo­nious moments with the use of plucked strings and per­cus­sive instru­ments.
