Peter Van Hoesen lands Mix Of The Day on Resident Advisor

Every year Res­i­dent Advi­sor hosts one of the most com­pelling par­ties over the epic 5‑day fes­ti­val that is Ams­ter­dam Dance Event. The event always plays host to some of the most excit­ing and pres­ti­gious artists in the elec­tron­ic music scene. For the third year in a row, their par­ty took place at one of Ams­ter­dam’s most estab­lished clubs RADION with a tech­no-fueled par­ty that fea­tured the likes of SHED, Mala b2b Kode9 and our very own Peter Van Hoe­sen to name a few. 

Land­ing on Res­i­dent Advi­sor’s mix of the day series this week was the record­ing of Peter’s set from that unfor­get­table night. Clos­ing the main room the Bel­gian tech­no leg­end rose to the occa­sion with fly­ing colours deliv­er­ing a per­for­mance that lived up to his stel­lar rep­u­ta­tion and beyond. The three and a half hour long jour­ney takes many twists and turns along the way show­cas­ing Peter’s com­pre­hen­sive under­stand­ing of tech­no and its rela­tion to the dance­floor. From the dark­est depths of dub­by tech­no to straight up hands in the air four to the floor action the mix has a lot to offer. Tune into this one below.
