Max Abysmal at Dekmantel Selectors 2018

The Australian digger shows us what warm-up duties are really about at this years Dekmantel Selectors.

Dekmantel has been taking the electronic music scene by storm these past few years with the expansion of their beloved festival over several continents. Their locations stretch as far and wide as Tokyo and São Paulo but one of their most talked about get-togethers, Dekmantel Selectors, falls on the sunny summer beaches of Tisno, Croatia. After a number of memorable appearances for Dekmantel, most notably on their Boiler Room stage in Amsterdam, Max Abysmal was back with the crew again for another weekend of good music and good times.

Early Sunday Max took to the beach stage for a 3‑hour journey that would shake off the hangovers and get people ready for a day of dancing. The set starts with an array of horizontally-inclined selections as he settles you in with ease. Warm soundscapes, ambient textures, organic elements and slowly unwinding melodies make up the first two hours inducing relaxation and well-being. As we reach the final 60 minutes rhythm based tracks pour in slowly raising pulses with a number of obscure downtempo offerings leaving the picturesque beach stage warmed up like a true professional. Lock into this one below when you’re looking for a peaceful moment in your day!
