Legowelt at Red Bull Music Presents: Get Down Early

Legow­elt has been a pil­lar in the under­ground music scene for the best part of 20 years. Known for his out­landish pro­duc­tions, out­ra­geous release sched­ule and even more impres­sive live per­for­mances Dan­ny Wolfers has made quite the rep­u­ta­tion for him­self. That being said it comes to no sur­prise that Red Bull Music invit­ed Legow­elt as a guest to their Get Down Ear­ly club series.

In this ses­sion, Legow­elt takes a step back and per­forms a rare open­ing slot at the Lon­don venue Cor­si­ca Stu­dios. Over the dura­tion of 145 min­utes, Legow­elt takes you through a hor­i­zon­tal­ly inclined live set that breathes down­tem­po dis­tort­ed rhythms and his usu­al offer­ing of majes­tic melodies. It flows very cor­dial­ly through an array of drum tracks, Mem­phis rap gems, reg­gae rar­i­ties, orig­i­nal Legow­elt jams and even cuts by the likes of Patrick Cow­ley.
