Welcome Function

Hail­ing from New York, but firm­ly solid­i­fied in Berlin, Func­tion has been a promi­nent fig­ure in tech­no for 20 + years. From his ear­ly begin­nings as a res­i­dent at New York’s noto­ri­ous Lime­light to his res­i­den­cy at Berghain and Bassiani over the past years to releas­es on the likes of Ostgut Ton, Hos­pi­tal Pro­duc­tions and not to for­get his col­lab­o­ra­tive projects such as the leg­endary Sandwell Dis­trict and more recent LSD, Func­tion has amount­ed a list of cre­den­tials that speak for themselves. 

2019 will see Func­tion re-invent­ing him­self once again: releas­ing a fresh batch of new­ly orches­trat­ed pro­duc­tions in the near future and roar­ing with ener­gy to get back on the road play­ing shows. As always, Func­tion keeps on shift­ing to the next gear and will no doubt be turn­ing a lot of heads in the years to come.
