Casper Tielrooij & Cinema Royale at Dekmantel Selectors 2018

In the lat­est suc­ces­sion of record­ings to come from Dek­man­tel Selec­tors is a b2b occur­rence from two promi­nent names in the organ­i­sa­tions fam­i­ly tree. Casper Tiel­rooij is one of the co-founders of Dek­man­tel and makes up for one half of Dek­man­tel Soundsys­tem. At last years Selec­tors Casper linked with one of Ams­ter­dam’s solid­i­fied heads Cin­e­ma Royale for a b2b extrav­a­gan­za on the pic­turesque land­scapes of Tisno. 

For some years now the pair has joined forces for extend­ed musi­cal jour­neys with mem­o­rable per­for­mances at Red Light Radio and pre­vi­ous Dek­man­tel events. The affair always offers a deep insight into the art of dig­ging as the pair roll back the years with clas­sics, rar­i­ties and straight up odd­ball cuts. Over the dura­tion of three hours, the duo gen­tly push­es the pace start­ing under 100 bpm and work­ing their way up with a heavy selec­tion of, but not lim­it­ed to, dis­co, boo­gie and Ita­lo cuts.
