Serv­ing up the 24^th install­ment of Rain­bow Dis­co Club’s pod­cast series is a very famil­iar face in Japan’s elec­tron­ic music scene in Wata Igarashi. At this year’s edi­tion of the fes­ti­val Wata will share the stage with fel­low Japan­ese tech­no enthu­si­ast DJ Nobu. Across the hour-long pod­cast, Wata offers a selec­tion of deep, min­i­mal­is­tic tech­no tied togeth­er with seam­less blends. The open­ing sequences of the mix are invit­ing as Wata lures you in with selec­tions that breathe warm basslines and stripped backed drums pat­terns.
