DJ Nobu presents the ON-Netoh EP

DJ Nobu seems to car­ry him­self with a qual­i­ty over quan­ti­ty type mind­set. He releas­es come far and few in between but always come packed with the same hi-fideli­ty sound that he seems to guar­an­tee in all of his work. His first out­ing of 2019, the ON-Netoh EP, is an assort­ment of the three tracks titled ​‘Zzzz’, ​‘Wwww’ & ​‘Cccc’.

“Chim­ing, bub­bling and beau­ti­ful, ​‘Zzzz’ is a 15-minute piece that was ini­tial­ly com­posed as heal­ing music for a sick friend. After lengthy delib­er­a­tion (and one par­tic­u­lar­ly fun demo lis­ten­ing ses­sion in Ams­ter­dam) the accom­pa­ny­ing B side tracks were final­ly decid­ed upon, mak­ing up a thrilling set. ​‘Wwww’ goes straight into Nobu’s men­ac­ing side with a loop­ing, brood­ing piece of wired para­noia. He fin­ish­es off the trip­tych with ​‘Cccc’ a psy­che­del­ic dri­ve down the dark­ened roads mas­ter Nobu is often known to nav­i­gate through when in mur­der mode as a DJ. ”
