Identified Patient lines up EP on Dekmantel

You’ve more than likely heard him at one of their many events, now check out what he has geared up for their label!

The Amsterdam based beat machine is at it again, making his presence known with more compelling analog workouts. Following hot off the heels of two tidy outings on Pinkman comes this four-track EP titled Signals in Snakes”. On this endeavour Identified Patient lands in safe hands with his comrades at Dekmantel as they line him up on their twisted UFO series.

The four cuts come oozing in that kind of churning, lithe, fractured machine funk that could make Trent Reznor weep with envy – mean but clean, sinister and stomping but crucially, never overconfident or overblown.” The Dutchman returns with his partner in crime Sophie Du Palais on opening cut The Drip” while upscaling the intensity on the accompanying A‑side Let Me Do It”. The tantalizing energy continues on the flip with the furious acid lines of Chantals Chant” before tieing the EP together with the sinisterly seductive Lucy’s Comeback”.

Signals In Snakes is one to unify the cold-blooded villains and hot-blooded lovers all summer long.”
