Circle Of Live Curates ‘XLR8R+015’
Circle of Live have been called upon to curate the latest release in the XLR8R+ series.
Since its induction, Circle Of Live has certainly made a statement within the electronic music community. Introduced by founder Sebastian Mullaert at the start of summer 2018, the Circle has gone on to tour some of the worlds finest clubs and festivals while launching a label, extending its family and broadening its horizons with concepts such as their ‘Sleeping Concerts’. Now, following on from their monumental performance at Movement Festival in Detroit, Circle of Live have been called upon to curate the latest release in the XLR8R+ series.
Featuring tracks from Sebastian Mullaert, Amp Fidler, Mathew Jonson and VRIL, the release is centred around the four artists performing in the Circle at Movement Festival. Sebastian’s addition, Ever Closer, is a fully-improvised live jam recorded especially for XLR8R+015.
In addition to the four cuts, XLR8R will also release a two-hour segment of the Circle Of Live performance at Movement. This will be the first time it’s been heard outside of the improvised moment. Lastly, each artist has also broken down in writing the gear they used in Detroit for a special article called ‘Live Essentials’, coming soon.
