Suzanne Kraft launches new series for unreleased works
'Unreleasers' 1 & 2 are out now.
Suzanne Kraft spends a lot of time in the studio, this has resulted in several different projects and monikers over the last decade. The likes of Dude Energy, SK U Know and his collaborations with Jonny Nash of Melody Of Truth first come to mind. However, as with many avid producers, a lot of his work doesn’t make it into the public domain. In these series of releases, the first on his personal Bandcamp page, Kraft reflects on forgotten songs, improvisations and live sketches from the last several years.
Unreleasers 01 contains tracks composed between 2016 — 2019 that explore his ambient and leftfield improvisations. They are rich with soundscapes, soaring synth lines and .… They showcase Kraft’s ability to translate emotive feelings into sonic paintings, something very tangible in ‘Pushing Against People You Love’.
The second release in the series focuses on ‘clubbier’ works from his old hard drive. The four tracks can be dated back between 2013 — 2019 and include a piece from Kraft’s time spent at the Red Bull Music Academy in New York.
