Sebastian Mullaert announces new album
Natthall will land this spring.
Sebastian Mullaert has announced he will present a new album this year titled, Natthall. Always collaborating with artists who challenge his creative process, this full-length finds Sebastian working alongside the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich. The title of the album is named after a peak in the Söderåsen National Park, a short distance for Mullaert’s home in Sweden.
“Nature is an expression of patterns: trees, water, the weather,” Mullaert says. ‘This mix of everything, bubbling away, feels very vital. Improvised music has the same power. It has all these different phases and beautiful moments just spring out.’ ”
