Anastasia Kristensen remix for Zebra Katz

Ear­li­er this year New York-based artist Zebra Katz released his debut album. ​“LESS IS MOOR expands on themes around sex­u­al­i­ty and the Black expe­ri­ence explored on sin­gles ​‘IN IN IN’ and ​‘LOUSY’, while always remain­ing true to the music’s roots on the dance floor.” Fol­low­ing its suc­cess, the Amer­i­can artist has revis­it­ed the album with a spe­cial remix release on his own imprint ZFK Records. In this 16 track out­ing, you can find a range of glob­al tal­ent includ­ing our very own Anas­ta­sia Kristensen. 

Work­ing on one of the albums main sin­gles ​‘IN IN IN’, Kris­tensen trans­forms the reg­gae­ton instru­men­tal into peak-time dance­floor mate­r­i­al. Chop­ping and stretch­ing the orig­i­nal vocal line and lac­ing it with four to the floor punch­ing rhythms, rolling hits, breaks and a selec­tion of stab­by synths and swoosh­ing move­ments, the results are dev­as­tat­ing.
