GiGi FM's RA Mix

GiGi has com­piled a col­lec­tion of tech­no sounds from that of Varuna, ASC, Dona­to Dozzy, The Orb and Sun­ju Har­gun. It’s a set that rip­ples rather than blud­geons, per­fect for turn­ing off the lights, light­ing a can­dle or some palo san­to and sink­ing into the music.

Being a trained dancer, GiGi is well-acquaint­ed with the intrin­sic con­nec­tion between sound, move­ment and the body. In her her mind­ful prac­tice of yoga, dance and her GEM (Ges­tur­al Elec­tron­ic Music) project she explores this rela­tion­ship even deep­er. She sees move­ment and music as a way for uncon­scious feel­ings to bub­ble to the sur­face and tap into our inner selves.
