SØS Gunver Ryberg: Mirrored Madness

In Mir­rored Mad­ness, an ecosys­tem of (cyber)organisms unfurl their forms, puls­ing to life with hyper­com­plex­i­ty, reveal­ing the dynam­ic shapes of their intri­cate, mutat­ed bio­mor­phic designs. After Out of the Shad­ows, is the lat­est release by SØS Gun­ver Ryberg​’s album SPINE in col­lab­o­ra­tion with 3D-artist Patrick de Fasten. 

Inter­con­nect­ed­ness holds a sig­nif­i­cant role with­in Ryberg’s over­all artis­tic approach. Whether she is explor­ing the bound­aries between tech­nol­o­gy and nature or aim­ing for mul­ti-sen­so­ry immer­sive expe­ri­ences, SØS Gun­ver Ryberg thrives on per­pet­u­al­ly immers­ing her­self in an unend­ing stream of creativity.

This year she pre­sent­ed an LP, wrote music for the VR opera MOR­TAL­I­TIES, and launched a label Arte­r­i­al Record­ing. Accord­ing to the artist, Arte­r­i­al pro­vides a plat­form to expand her artis­tic goals and reflect the world she wants to see in the future. But what will this world look like?
