Gerd shares his personal story behind the Afterglow EP reissue
Dutch house master Gerd's reissue of his early breakthrough EP, Afterglow, is now available and he shared his personal story behind this release back in 1991 on his facebook.
It tells a story of him and his friends recording the tracks at his dark attic and eventually the tracks getting picked up by John Acquaviva in 1992 to be released on Malego, a subsidiary of Plus 8 Records. 25 years later, you can listen to samples of the deep, emotive EP below.
