Il Quadro di Troisi: La Verità

The rev­o­lu­tion hap­pened inside each of us, while out­side the dark­ness of pan­demics, wars and fas­cist gov­ern­ments, big crises and long dis­tances and then hugs and cir­cles to nev­er leave each oth­er again, to tell each oth­er that music saves, music cures (as well as entertains).

With the fol­low­ing intro does Il Quadro di Troisi announce the release of their new sin­gle ​“La Ver­ità,” which announces a 10-song album due out next March on raster­me­dia in col­lab­o­ra­tion with 42records.

»La Ver­ità« is the song that marks the come­back of Il Quadro di Troisi, one of the most sophis­ti­cat­ed bands on the inter­na­tion­al music scene. The duo, pre­vi­ous­ly formed by dona­to dozzy and Eva geist, has become a trio with the sta­ble addi­tion of Pietro Micioni. The new track, a sur­prise release, sig­nals a sub­tle yet tan­gi­ble depar­ture from their debut album.

»La Ver­ità« takes the foun­da­tion­al ele­ments of Il Quadro di Troisi​’s musi­cal aes­thet­ics (inspired by the melod­ic and lyri­cal tra­di­tion of Ital­ian pop and elec­tron­ic music) and takes them into new and unex­plored direc­tions. »La Ver­ità« is about the world we live in: an unflinch­ing and dis­en­chant­ed look at cur­rent events and a state­ment of iden­ti­ty and belonging.
