ItaloJohnson launch remix project and get remixed by Floorplan and Jimmy Edgar
Stop press! For the first time ever, Berlin trio ItaloJohnson are being remixed after putting ten original EPs on their own self titled label.
The new project is a series which will see at least one remix EP per year, next to regular releases, and will feature reworks “by some of the artists we respect most and whose music we always have been playing in our sets. Pretty much every single track on our 10 catalogue numbers is predestined to be remixed.” This is an exciting bit of news that will surely bring lots of interesting new angles into the trio’s much loved catalogue. First up are Detroit legends Robert Hood as Floorplan and Jimmy Edgar, who both tackle EP 07, track A1. Tune in here.
