DJ Nobu’s iconic party series, Future Terror turns 20 years old this year. In a 2019 interview with i‑D, Nobu spoke about how Future Terror created a special atmosphere, where the audience could truly release themselves. The acclaimed party started in Chiba in 2001 as a response to the commercialization of clubbing at the time and has since become a key player in the Japanese electronic scene. The 20th Anniversary means that several special events in Japan are in the works.
