Peter Van Hoesen lands on Index Marcel Fengler Compilation

Since its birth in 2011 Index Mar­cel Fen­gler has been an imprint at the fore­front of the Berlin tech­no scene. For its 10^th release the label debuts with its first com­pi­la­tion which fea­tures 18 tracks from the likes of Alva Noto, Scuba’s SCB project, Shed, DIN, FJAAK, Lucy, Eric Clouti­er, Thomas Hessler and our very own Peter Van Hoe­sen. 

The Bel­gian tech­no mae­stro addi­tion to the com­pi­la­tion comes in the form of ​‘Fold­ing Back­wards’. The high­ly ener­getic cut fea­tures play­ful synth leads that slow­ly ele­vate and sub­se­quent­ly retract as the track pro­gress­es. It’s a hyp­not­ic affair that’s excel­lence comes down to its sub­tle changes and mod­u­lat­ing para­me­ters.
