Suzanne Kraft launches new alias SK U KNO

Suzanne Kraft is an artist with a very busy work rate. From his many solo projects to his col­lab­o­ra­tions with Jon­ny Nash and DK and not to for­get his relent­less work with Melody As Truth he always seems to be imple­ment­ing fresh ideas that res­onate with music heads far and wide. In his lat­est project, SK U KNO, he broad­ens his hori­zons with a 4 track mini album which plays on the abstract end of ambi­ence. Infus­ing organ­ic instru­ments with syn­the­sised ele­ments Suzanne Kraft push­es the bound­aries pre­sent­ing a fresh and orig­i­nal sound.

He shared the fol­low­ing words about the release, 

”Here comes anoth­er alias…

These ideas were orig­i­nal­ly draft­ed and pre­pared for two live per­for­mances in Paris and Ams­ter­dam in 2017. I took a reac­tionary approach to these per­for­mances, specif­i­cal­ly in that I would not ​“per­form” any­thing but rather ​“present” what could be called a snap­shot of my stu­dio explo­rations at the time. To be pre­sent­ed on record, out­side of a live per­for­mance set­ting, some amend­ments have been made but the live sequence has remained intact.

Along­side the launch of the new alias, the LA-born artist took to NTS to mark the release of the mini album which is titled ​‘U Kno’. The hour-long show fea­tures a lot of orig­i­nal music pep­pered along­side some out­side input. The for­mer half of the show glides through exper­i­men­tal sounds while the lat­ter picks up the pace with some club-ready rav­ing action.
