Function's live stream for ARTE
To celebrate 30 Years of Tresor, Function AKA David Sumner performed a live set.
Function’s techno career began in New York in the ’90s, where he became a resident at Manhattan’s notorious Limelight club. Producing from the mid-90s onward, he released his first 12“s on Damon Wild’s Synewave and his own Infrastructure imprint. In 2007 his journey brought him to Berlin, where he became a Berghain regular, co-founded the influential Sandwell District collective and became a recording artist on Ostgut Ton.
As such a key presence of the Berlin scene, it is only fitting that he joins in celebrating 30 years of Tresor.
